Did I do this?

We so far have had a relaxing Memorial Day weekend. The girls are camping with their Mamaw and family out at their property. Bill and I enjoyed some time at the pool laying out this weekend, we bbqed, and I got to go with my friend Amy to watch her son's baseball tournament at Forest Park last night. Today they are playing for first place! Today, these pictures explain how I found Austin. I was in the kitchen cooking chicken and went in to check on him, I guess he kept himself busy with getting out every single toy of his in the living room! My busy boy!

Continue to count every single blessing God's given us!

I hope everyone is finding the last week of school not to crazy. We bought our pool passes this week for our Aquatic center. Summer is here! Things are looking good for the moment at our house. The kids are in their last week of school from their first full school year in a new district. We are so thankful for their school and the good it does for each of them! A few weeks ago Austin had caught a nasty virus that affected his trach secretions, low grade fever, ear drainage and his bowels. He amazes me each time he gets sick to watch him get a little stronger, not have a seizure and slowly get over being sick with out trips to the hospital. This last time his virus didn't really reach bacterial infection and he was able to fight this without any antibiotics! Amazing!!! I just am so grateful for this because a year ago it wasn't the case for Austin, he would still need short stays in the hospital and would have some seizures which always can make the situation worse for someone already so compromised. I know for now I am counting every little blessing with Austin and where he is at right now. I know this can change any time, but to say he is doing so good right now is the most wonderful words to type on here. I don't get to say that often enough about his health! He's truly our miracle everyday!

School performances

Abby and Sierra had their first end of School performances, these are a few pictures from their nights to shine. They did great jobs singing and had so much fun doing it!

Sierra's Daisy ceremony and other news....

On Friday night we had Sierra's Daisy ceremony. All the girls were so fun to watch. Sierra sold over 300 boxes of girl scout cookies for their troop! Way to go girl! She enjoyed getting honored for her accomplishments. Austin has been battling a nasty virus for over a week and a half. He is finally on the mend and feeling much better! The kids only have two weeks of school left and I guess we will let the craziness begin for the summer. I hope everyone has a great weekend, despite the rain and cool temps for May.

Happy Mom's Day

We had a great weekend filled with lots of mom and grandma times! Austin unfortunately got really sick this morning and is running a fever, and extremely lethargic. The good thing is that it hasn't gone into an emergency situation yet to where we would have to rush him to the hospital. My prayer is that whatever he has can be handled at home and that he is feeling so much better soon! He tends to like to get sick on holidays, poor little angel!!! I hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there!

We went on a few adventures

On Friday morning the kids were out of school so we headed out to the zoo and this is what we saw! Sierra, we missed having her, she was at her granny's house.

This is one of Austin at the magic house a couple weekends ago. This is one of his FAVORITE places to play because of all the hands on and the music activities they have there!
